Really Megan...

So I have absolutly NO clue why in the world I haven't been able to update this thing in, ummm, 10 months.  Oh wait a minute! I know! It's because I have a little rugrat that is only still when she sleeps.  And when she sleeps it's not really for that long so the last thing I think about doing, after I think about washing dishes, doing laundry, feeding the animals, picking up after her, picking up our room, putting away laundry, and whatever else I need to do,  is updating this blog.  I think about this blasted thing everyday and say to myself  "Now Megan, do you really not have a few minutes in the day to sit down and write?"  And the answer is...no I do not.   So here is why I am now just finally updating this.

For those of you that have been keeping up with my journey, thank you and I apologize it has taken me this long to get back on track.  But I shall strive to get back on this track!

Last time I blogged, it was the day before Kenley's surgery.  What else do I say except that it went wonderfully.  She was pretty much herself the next day.  Her scar has healed beautifully and if you had no idea there was a "bump" to begin with, you wouldn't even see her scar.  This picture was taken probably only a couple weeks after her surgery.  Look at that sweet face!

I could probably bore everyone, including myself with going back in time and talking about every holiday and party and whatever else the squeeks has been up to but I figure I'll just go ahead and jump to where we are today.

My child is wide open!!!  She is so amazing to me.  She can be sweetest thing one minute and then get mad as heck at you another minute and take a few swings.  And then when she realizes she's in the wrong, it usually begins with a "Hi". She then makes a sad face and leans in for a hug.

This was captured during one of her "talking sprees".  She has her own language and it kills Jim and I to listen to her talk to us and explain something.  She gets into it with hand gestures and everything.

Basically she is doing great.  Up to speed developmentally and everyday surprises me with something new.

Hard to believe that in just two short years she's gone from this...

To this...

Such a blessing.  Such a miracle
